Job summary

The Jewish Board of Family and Children's Services seeks a Junior Billing Compliance Auditor in New York to support the Corporate Compliance program, focusing on billing accuracy and regulatory alignment across divisions. You will collaborate with senior specialists and staff to monitor compliance with OMIG, CMS, and other regulators, maintain audit records, and contribute to corrective action plans.

This role requires strong analytical, communication, and project management skills, with a BA/BS

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.
• MS/MA/MBA/MPA/LCSW/LMSW preferred.
• Experience in Behavioral Health or related fields.
• Experience with state regulators including OCFS, OMH, OPWDD, OMIG, OASAS, DOHMH, NYS DOH, and ACS.
• One year auditing experience preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Remain up-to-date on regulatory requirements and guidance.
• Conduct internal billing/claims audits agency wide.
• Coordinate Compliance Review Committee (CRC) meetings.
• Maintain a regulatory update matrix division wide.
• Review departmental procedures to ensure billing compliance with agency requirements.
• Maintain audit reports and improvement plans.
• Identify risk areas and assist in corrective action plans.
• Lead or participate in investigations of fraud, waste, and abuse of public funds.
• Collaborate with program staff and support departments to address exposure.
• Coordinate regulatory mandated projects and trainings.
• Contribute to agency accreditation preparation and surveys.
