Summary of Responsibilities:

The Billing & Collections Coordinator I ensures all billing and collections activities comply with state and federal requirements. This role involves timely follow-up on assigned accounts to reduce outstanding receivables.

Compensation:

The pay range for this position is $17.07 - $22.18 per hour. Hiring typically occurs below or near the top of this range, with compensation influenced by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Essential Functions:
  1. Ensure order setup accuracy for proper reimbursement.
  2. Review orders daily for billing accuracy.
  3. Follow up and collect on assigned accounts to reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
  4. Recommend refunds, adjustments, or write-offs for receivables.
  5. Submit appeals as needed.
  6. Inquire with payers regarding outstanding receivables.
  7. Resolve billing holds with order processors.
Qualifications and Competencies:
  • Minimum of one year related experience required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
