Job summary

Opti Staffing in Tacoma, WA is hiring a Medical Billing & Coding Specialist to join our behavioral health-focused team. You will manage billing functions, review claims, verify eligibility, and ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and other payers while maintaining detailed records.

You’ll collaborate with clinicians and billing staff to resolve issues and support program operations. Work hours are Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm with competitive pay of $31-33/hr, plus Medical/Dental/Vision benefits,

Qualifications

• Experience with CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding.
• Experience with billing software and claims submission platforms.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities
