Job summary

NielsenIQ is seeking a Billing & Revenue professional to execute revenue-related processes for multiple markets, including order validation, billing, revenue recognition and accruals. You will ensure orders in SAP comply with NIQ policies and US GAAP, prepare related reports, and support audits and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Execute and deliver revenue-related processes: sales order validation, billing, revenue recognition, accruals and reconciliations.
• Validate orders in SAP from CRM against internal processes and policies.
• Ensure SAP orders comply with US GAAP and NIQ policies.
• Process customer invoicing, invoice cancellations/credit notes, revenue recognition and related reports.
• Support audits and document collection for CAS, statutory, VAT, etc.

About this Job

Responsible for executing and delivering all revenue related processes and tasks for the assigned markets/clusters, including sales order and contract validation, billing, revenue recognition and accounting. Maintain compliance with global standards. This position reports to the Billing & Revenue Team Leader/Manager.

Responsabilities:

• Work with Revenue Assurance and Billing & Revenue Leader to support their deliverables
• Prepare, initiate in a timely manner the following activities as per Global & Regional agenda:
• Validate accuracy of orders received in SAP from CRM, based on company internal process & policy
• Partner with Order Management team to ensure orders received in SAP are compliant with USGAAP and NIQ policies
• Process Customer invoicing & Invoice Cancellation/Credit Note creation
• Process Revenue recognition
• Preparation of Billing and Revenue related reports
• Responsible for performing billing/revenue controls.
• Preparation of accruals, provisions, write offs and reconciliations
• Generation of month end reports on Unbilled balances, Deferred balances following the US-GAAP/Stat rules and global processes
• Raise any detected issues that are not consistent with NIQ policies and US GAAP rules
• Support the markets during audits (CAS, statutory, VAT, etc.) and collection of documentation for audit purposes

• Understanding of the Revenue processes and accounting (Order Management, CRM, Billing, Collection and Cash Application).
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
• Fluency in English and local language mandatory; other regional language preferred
