Job summary

Center For Family Services is seeking Residential Counselor staff for the Juntos Program in Bridgewater, NJ. The role focuses on direct counseling, youth support, life skills education, and a structured, supportive environment for children and teens.

Requirements include a High School Diploma with at least one year working with youth, bilingual English/Spanish, a valid driver’s license and a clean record, plus vehicle insurance/registration. Competitive benefits and a sign-on bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus one year experience working with youth.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (conversational Spanish required, fluent Spanish preferred).
• Current driver's license with a great driving record of at least three years.
• Vehicle with current insurance and registration.
• Excellent written documentation and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Engages in caring supervision and structure for youth in residence which is consistent with stated goals and objectives.
• Provides life skills education and goal setting groups.
• Co-leads recreation and physical education activities scheduled during shift.
• Provides one-to-one assistance and engages youth.
• Provides transportation to and from appointments.
• Serves as a positive role model.
