Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work/psychology/counseling.
• Registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
• Experience working with children in out-of-home care preferred.
• At least 21 years of age.
• TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any licensing/certification requirements.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients and caregivers regularly to advance treatment goals.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams for care planning and support.
• Collaborate to formulate and implement client care plans and interventions.
• Cultivate relationships with community members and providers as needed.
• Complete assessments to develop care plans.
• Provide case planning and clinical consultation as appropriate.
• Document mental health notes, care plans, outcomes, and reports.
• Remain available for crisis intervention and on-call rotation.
• Participate in supervision sessions.
• Comply with child abuse reporting and Medicaid/Medi-Cal requirements.
