Job summary

Columbia Basin Health Association (CBHA) is seeking a position to provide services and implement the WIC Nutrition Education Program in accordance with program policies. The role includes clerical duties, participant screening and education, and outreach to partner agencies across Washington state, with travel to remote clinic sites.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, basic math and computer skills, and be fluent in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• Basic written and verbal communication skills and mathematical knowledge typically acquired through completion of a high school program.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive CBHA vehicles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word/Office suite and Windows environment.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Perform clerical duties for the Washington WIC Program day-to-day operations.
• Screen and educate program participants.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community agencies for referrals.
• Travel to remote clinic sites to support program activities and trainings.
• Uphold confidentiality and WE CARE Standards of Behavior.
• Other duties as assigned.
