Job summary

TrueCare in Oceanside, CA, is seeking a Degreed Nutritionist to provide nutrition and breastfeeding education to WIC participants, both individually and in groups. The role includes determining client eligibility and implementing WIC services for eligible participants.

The position is based at 2210 Mission Mesa Drive, Oceanside, with weekday hours and occasional Saturdays as part of a rotating schedule. Spanish language skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or related field.
• General knowledge of Spanish, and willing to learn to counsel in Spanish.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutrition and breastfeeding education to WIC program participants individually and in groups to assure quality service.
• Determine client eligibility and implement WIC Program services to eligible participants.
