Job summary

TrueCare is a trusted healthcare provider serving San Diego and Riverside Counties. The Degreed Nutritionist will educate Women, Infants and Children (WIC) participants on nutrition and breastfeeding, determine eligibility, and implement WIC services to eligible families.

Location: 2210 Mission Mesa Drive, Oceanside, CA 92054. Hours are 7:30 am–4:30 pm, with occasional later days and one Saturday rotation every 2–3 months.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and able to counsel in Spanish.
• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or related field.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• May be required to travel; valid California driver license, insurance, and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutrition and breastfeeding education to WIC program participants individually and in groups.
• Determine client eligibility and implement WIC program services.
• Support underserved communities with culturally sensitive nutrition guidance.
