Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers in Washington state seeks a WIC Clerk to support clerical duties, prescreening and enrollment, and nutrition education for WIC participants. You will help with scheduling, client flow, and referrals across WIC, MSS, and medical appointments.

The role requires basic nutrition interest, bilingual ability (English/Spanish or English/Russian preferred), and adherence to vaccination and health screening policies.

Qualifications

• High School or GED diploma required.
• Previous experience as receptionist and/or in WIC Program preferred.
• TB test annually required.
• BLS CPR within 90 days of hire and maintained.
• Annual influenza vaccine required; mask if exempt.

Responsibilities

• Greets and schedules WIC, MSS, and Medical appointments and assesses client needs.
• Assists with WIC prescreening, enrollment, orientation and re-evaluation.
• Provides brief nutritional counseling and referrals to Sea Mar services.
• Maintains WIC charts and statistics, including birth outcome log and nutrition encounters.
• Triages client issues and refers to appropriate WIC personnel.
