Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) has an immediate full-time opportunity for a Bilingual Warehouse Janitorial Site Manager. This role involves supervising janitorial operations, managing shifts, budgets, and safety programs in a fast-paced distribution setting.

Fluency in English and Spanish is required, along with OSHA 10 General Industry and forklift/scissor lift certifications. The position offers a starting pay of $19.00 per hour, with 8am–4pm and night shift options.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• 10 Hour OSHA certification training for general industry.
• OSHA forklift/scissor lift operator certification.
• 4+ years supervisory/leadership in distribution centers, janitorial or building maintenance.
• Ability to communicate with internal/external customers and employees.
• Experience with HR processes including staffing lifecycle, interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions and terminations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational budget, labor planning and cost optimization.
• Direct supervision of assigned janitorial operations personnel.
• Ensure proper training for all personnel.
• Measure performance, provide feedback and develop staff with safety as a priority.
• Coordinate with team for daily operations and resolve deficiencies.
• Maintain coverage for all three shifts and schedule coordination.
• Ensure compliance with company policies; apply disciplinary actions as needed.
• Implement safety programs including forklift training; manage chemicals and PPE.

Shifts Available:

8am to 4pm (1 Position)

Night Shift (1 Position)

Starting Pay: $19.0 per hour

As a Bilingual Warehouse Janitorial Site Manager, the following duties and responsibilities will be a part of this opportunity but are not limited to them:

• Responsible for operational financial budget, labor planning, and cost optimization
• Provides direct supervision of assigned janitorial operations personnel
• Ensures proper training for all personnel in their respective positions
• Measures performance, provides feedback and develops staff setting clear expectations ensuring employee safety is a priority committing to timely incident reporting procedures
• Collaborates with team to ensure coordination and successful execution of daily operations, resolving deficiencies in a timely manner
• Maintains coverages for all 3 shifts by coordinating and collaborating with shift leads confirming daily schedules
• Maintains compliance with all company policies and procedures and issues disciplinary actions where needed
• Implements company use of machinery and safety programs including forklift training
• Manages chemicals and supply inventory ensures employee safety and use of proper PPE

Requirements for our Bilingual Warehouse Janitorial Site Manager:

• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
• 10 Hour OSHA certification training for general industry
• OSHA standards Forklift/Scissor lift operator certification
• Experience in janitorial operations strongly preferred
• Minimum 4 years of supervisory and leadership experience in distribution centers, janitorial or building maintenance
• Ability to effectively communicate with internal/external customers and employees
• Experienced with application of human resources process and procedures, including full staffing lifecycle, interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions, and terminations.
