Openwork is hiring an experienced Bilingual Warehouse Associate for a steel distribution company in Houston, TX. This 2nd shift role involves pulling orders, loading and unloading materials, operating forklifts and overhead cranes, and supporting daily warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations, Material Handling & Steel Distribution

Openwork is hiring an experienced Bilingual Warehouse Associate for an established steel distribution company in Houston, TX 77041.

This hands-on position focuses on pulling customer orders, loading and unloading materials, operating forklifts and overhead cranes, and supporting daily warehouse operations.

Qualified candidates must have at least 2 years of warehouse, material handling, or related industrial experience. Experience operating forklifts, overhead cranes, or similar equipment is preferred. Steel industry experience is a plus but not required.

Position Details:

• Location: Houston, TX 77041
• Pay: $17.50/hr | Weekly Pay
• Schedule: Mon–Fri, 11:30 AM–8:00 PM
• Training: Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM until completed
• Shift: 2nd Shift
• Employment: Full-Time
• Overtime: Required as needed, including short or last-minute notice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Must be available for short-notice or last-minute overtime.
• Ability to meet pre-employment background and drug/alcohol screening requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
