Regal Marine Industries, Inc. is seeking a bilingual Upholstery Team Leader to oversee upholstery manufacturing processes and maximize efficiency through effective leadership of 35–40 team members.

You will train, coach, and motivate the team, communicate daily schedules, monitor attendance, and collaborate with other departments to meet production milestones while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Must confirm timecards and effectively utilize our timekeeping system.
• Must be able to manage labor hours to meet production rates.
• Must conduct employee conversations to communicate expectations, performance, & disciplinary actions.
• Must lead daily meetings with large teams to effectively detail recent progress, current state, and future strategy.
• Must follow all safety standards and procedures.
• Must have the ability to understand and adhere to all quality standards.
• Must work well with Diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee upholstery manufacturing processes and manpower usage.
• Coach and supervise 35-40 team members.
• Train and motivate team to achieve high productivity and quality.
• Communicate daily production schedule to the team.
• Track attendance and time per policy.
• Troubleshoot production line issues.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet schedules.
• Produce manufacturing defect lists and corrective actions.
• Manage according to policies and laws.
• Interview, plan, assign, appraise, reward, and counsel staff.
• Ensure safety and PPE compliance.
