Job summary

BayFirst National Bank is seeking a Universal Banker to support client needs across its Tampa area centers. You will be responsible for opening and closing accounts, processing routine transactions, and providing personalized service to customers.

Proficiency in bank products and the ability to understand client financial goals is essential. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred, with a strong focus on accuracy, courtesy, and relationship building.

Qualifications

• Experience in banking preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Travel regularly to BayFirst's three Tampa banking centers to provide coverage.
• Become proficient in all bank products, programs, and services to provide customers the best service possible.
• Understand clients' financial needs and make appropriate product recommendations and referrals.
• Meet or exceed individual goals while supporting the banking center's goals.
• Perform routine transactions including deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, loan payments, transfers, check cashing, cashier’s checks, and debit cards issues.
• Open and close accounts (checking, savings, CDs, IRAs, safe deposit boxes) and balance daily transactions and verify cash totals.
• Exceed client expectations in terms of accuracy, efficiency, courtesy, and professionalism.
