Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) Certification
- Two years’ related experience;Medical terminology knowledge;Strong charting/documentation skills
- Pediatric vaccination knowledge preferred
- Experience in community organizing
- Bilingual English/Spanish required (read, write, speak).
Responsibilities
- Interview patients and record vital signs
- Utilize EHR system and record information
- Prepare treatment rooms for examination
- Drape patients and position instruments
- Hand instruments to provider as directed
- Administer immunizations and medications as directed
- Travel between clinic sites to cover staffing shortages
- Provide translation for providers or arrange translation services
