Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Bilingual Therapist. As a Bilingual Therapist, you will provide mental health services to clients, including individual and group therapy sessions. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain progress notes. You will collaborate with medical professionals and support staff to coordinate care, and some administrative duties will also be involved. The role is based in Queens, NY with the flexibility for some work from home.

Qualifications

• Fluency in both English and another language (Spanish preferred)
• Experience in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing individual and group therapy
• Knowledgeable in mental health counseling and psychotherapy
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially in a bilingual context
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
• Proficiency in maintaining client records and documentation
• Cultural competence and sensitivity towards diverse patient populations
• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field required
• Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York state is highly preferred
