Job summary

Uplift Education in Texas is seeking a qualified teacher to support attendance and classroom goals within our public school setting. The position requires leading rigorous lessons, using the Uplift curriculum, and maintaining a productive learning environment aligned to our mission of academic excellence.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and a valid Texas Teacher Certification or be enrolled in an Uplift certification program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Texas Teacher Certification or enrolled in Uplift certification course.
• HB 3 Reading Academies must be completed by end of 2022-2023.

Responsibilities

• Arrives 15 minutes before school start and handles assigned duties.
• Chaperones field trips and supports scholars with learning activities.
• Maintains safe, inclusive learning environments and follows policies.
• Delivers rigorous lessons using the Uplift curriculum and IB components.
• Communicates progress to parents and completes required trainings.
