Job Description

The Bilingual Elementary Teacher Pool – Grades EC-5th will teach bilingual education for Early Childhood to Fifth grade level students. The bilingual elementary grade teacher will complete all paperwork as well as instructional duties assigned to provide the best education possible for students of B.I.S.D.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Valid Texas Teacher's Certificate for Elementary Bilingual; or
• Eligibility Letter from an Alternative Certification Program, must have passed Core Subjects, STR, BTLPT and Bilingual Supplemental Exams to qualify

Preferred Qualifications

• Science of Teaching Reading Certification (STR) or Completion of Texas Reading Academies
