Job summary

Busy Season Staffing Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Tax Specialist to support tax operations. The role involves preparing tax returns, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and Puerto Rico tax regulations.

You will analyze financial data, monitor deadlines, and assist with audits. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Accounting with at least 2 years of tax experience and is fluent in English and Spanish, with strong Excel skills and meticulous attention

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax preparation and compliance.
Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
Knowledge of federal and Puerto Rico tax regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review tax returns, forms, and related documentation.
Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Analyze financial records and supporting documentation for tax reporting purposes.
Monitor tax filing deadlines, payments, and regulatory requirements.
Assist with tax audits, inquiries, and documentation requests.
