Base pay range

$13.50/hr - $13.50/hr

Job Description

Store associates work closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend the right solutions. They are also expected to resolve customer concerns promptly, ensure maximum client satisfaction, stay updated with product features, and maintain high standards of quality and store appearance. The role involves achieving excellent customer service and meeting sales goals.

Contact with customers may include minors, and access to cash, electronic equipment, personal information, merchandise, and other valuables is required. To protect the business and its reputation, a review of criminal history is necessary.

The selected individual will work at Store #707726, located at 800 East Grand Avenue, Marshall, TX 75670.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction through excellent service
  • Assist customers in person and over the phone, determining needs and presenting products
  • Build trust relationships with customers
  • Process sales transactions accurately
  • Achieve sales goals regularly
  • Maintain work order files and procedures
  • Pull products from sales floor or warehouse
  • Mix products as needed
  • Stock shelves and set up displays
  • Clean store equipment
  • Load/unload trucks and assist deliveries
  • Maintain a presentable store environment
  • Stay knowledgeable about products and options
  • Follow inventory control procedures
  • Suggest sales improvements
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
  • At least 18 years old
  • Legally authorized to work without sponsorship
  • Proficient in English and Spanish
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally
  • Willing to work evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
  • Valid unrestricted Driver’s License
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Experience in delivery, retail, or customer service
  • Experience selling paint products
  • Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
