Job Title: Bilingual Personal Banker

Location: FCB Sulphur Springs Wal-Mart, 1750 S. Broadway St., Sulphur Springs, Texas, United States

Position Type: Part Time - 20 hours per week

Requirements
  1. Six months of work experience in a retail or customer service environment preferred
  2. Must be able to get along with co-workers and work effectively in a team environment
  3. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  4. Schedules are prepared based on business need and subject to change at any time
  5. High school diploma, high school equivalency, or currently attending high school
  6. At least 18 years of age
  7. Must successfully pass background investigation according to company policy
  8. Must be bilingual in English/Spanish
Job Description

Under immediate direction, provides exceptional customer service, involving receipt and payment of cash, while working in a high volume, sales environment. Responsibilities include:

  1. Follow established policies in accordance with the bank and supervisor’s direction
  2. Accountable for personal achievement of monthly new account production as assigned by management
  3. Process deposits and payouts accurately, balance daily operations
  4. Receive cash and checks, verify amounts, and check endorsements
  5. Examine cash to guard against counterfeit checks and ID
  6. Enter transactions into computer and issue receipts
  7. Sell and prepare money orders, cashier’s checks, wires, bonds, traveler’s checks, and certificates of deposit
  8. Process Western Union wires and cash advances
  9. Cross-sell bank services and products
  10. Provide bank services to a diverse customer base, including Spanish-speaking clients
  11. Perform other tasks as directed by supervisors
Environmental and Physical Requirements
  1. Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
  2. Work in a high-volume, stressful, and noisy environment
  3. Operate a computer and office machinery
  4. Lift up to 25 lbs
