Job summary

Point Quest's IEP Therapy unit is seeking a Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist to provide direct services in a K-12 setting in Algonquin, IL. This part-time role offers 4.25 hours per day and requires an active SLP license in the state.

You will assess students, develop and implement IEP-aligned treatment plans, collaborate with teachers and families, and document progress while supervising any SLPAs as applicable.

Qualifications

  • Must have current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of service.
  • Ability to work in K-12 school setting and develop IEP-aligned treatment plans.
  • Prefer experience with school-based caseloads and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct formalized assessments and determine eligibility and level of functioning.
  • Develop and coordinate treatment plans with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide direct speech therapy services aligned to IEP goals.
  • Maintain IEPs and progress notes; participate in reviews.

You'll conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy to help students improve communication skills and access their education.
