Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is hiring a Special Education Teacher-Bilingual to join our team at an amazing school in Colorado. You will help students reach their potential in a bright, active environment.

Please note the role requires a Colorado State Special Services Provider OR State Teacher's License, a Master’s in Special Education, and experience with IEPs and case management. We offer competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Colorado State Special Services Provider OR State Teacher's License required.
• Master's Degree in Special Education.
• Experience with special education instruction and case management required.
• Experience in Elementary (K-1) preferred.
• Must have CDE ECSE license (attach with resume).

Responsibilities

• Create and execute IEPs for each student in your care.
• Work with preschool students with severe needs, ages 5-6.
• Communicate with staff and families about student progress and struggles.
• Prepare detailed lesson plans and submit them for approval.
• Participate in IEP meetings as scheduled by the school.
• Use individualized reinforcement techniques to guide progress.
• Invite family members to participate in educational progress.
• Create and distribute progress reports quarterly.
• Confer with on-site therapist over disciplinary and behavioral issues.
• Create a safe, productive classroom environment.
