Position Overview

We\'re looking for a compassionate and skilled Special Education Teacher to provide in-home instruction and parent training for children with developmental disabilities. You will collaborate with families to implement individualized education and behavior support plans in the client\'s home setting. The cases typically occur after school, with some cases starting before school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized academic and behavioral instruction in-home.
  • Conduct parent counseling training (PCT) sessions, equipping families with strategies to support their child\'s development.
  • Monitor and document client progress, adjusting interventions as needed for optimal results.
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and clinical directors to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Maintain detailed records, including progress reports and intervention outcomes.
  • Stay informed on the latest advancements in special education and ABA practices.
Qualifications
  • Master\'s degree in Education or a related field.
  • Certified Special Education Teacher.
  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience teaching individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Bilingual: English and Spanish speaking.
  • Proven experience in providing special education services.
  • Strong knowledge of behavior intervention strategies and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
