Job summary

Dragonfly Cares is seeking a Bilingual Special Education Teacher to deliver in-home ABA-based instruction in Deer Park and surrounding areas. This part-time role offers flexible hours and pay between $60 and $70 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

The candidate should hold a Master’s in Education or related field, be a Certified Special Education Teacher, and have 1–2 years of experience with developmental disabilities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education or related field.
• Certified Special Education Teacher.
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience teaching individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Bilingual: English and Spanish speaking. Other languages welcomed.
• Proven experience in providing special education services.
• Strong knowledge of behavior intervention strategies and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized academic and behavioral instruction in-home.
• Conduct parent counseling training (PCT) sessions, equipping families with strategies to support their child's development.
• Monitor and document client progress, adjusting interventions as needed for optimal results.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and clinical directors to ensure comprehensive support.
• Maintain detailed records, including progress reports and intervention outcomes.
• Stay informed on the latest advancements in special education and ABA practices.
