Job summary

Eastwood Elementary School in Hillsboro, Oregon seeks a Special Education Assistant (4 Hours) and Educational Assistant (2 Hours) for a 10‑month calendar. You will support students under licensed staff, implement Behavior Support Plans, and supervise across settings.

Must have a high school diploma, strong English communication, and bilingual English/Spanish abilities. A district-approved intervention certificate must be obtained within 60 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Proficient oral and written communication in English.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required; reading, writing and speaking fluently.
• HQ pedagogy observation form or equivalent tests.

Responsibilities

• Provide educational supports to students under licensed staff.
• Supervise students in various settings and monitor safety.
• Assist with implementation of Behavior Support Plans.
