Job summary

Labcorp in Silver Spring, MD is seeking a Bilingual Spanish Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform skilled blood collections, work with diverse patients, and be the face of Labcorp in our client office.

The role requires excellent customer service, accurate data entry, and the ability to travel to additional sites as needed. The schedule is Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays, and pay range is $17.75–$26.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience.
• 1 year or more phlebotomy experience.
• Bilingual Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Other Duties as assigned.

Role

Bilingual Spanish Phlebotomist to join our team in Silver Spring, MD.

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday 9:00am to 4:30pm; Saturdays 9:00am to 2:00pm (must be flexible) (30-minute lunch break)

Job Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
• Bilingual Spanish

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency may meet requirements
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Travel to additional site as needed, reliable transportation

We are currently seeking a Bilingual Spanish Phlebotomist to work in a Client Office. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided with opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.

PST’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics

Pay Range

• $17.75 - $26.00 per hour
