Bilingual/Spanish Member Service Representative (Work from Home)

Positions are full-time, work from home.


Seeking bilingual/Spanish speakers.


Monday-Friday: 1st shift (no weekends). Actual shifts may vary between 8AM - 6PM EST.


Hourly rate: $19.50 per hour.

As a Service Representative, you'll support stakeholders by providing accurate information to members, providers, and internal customers about our health plans. This role offers growth opportunities within our company.


We are seeking bilingual applicants in Spanish to staff our Spanish call lines. Bilingual reps will handle calls in both English and Spanish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use resources to interpret and resolve customer inquiries effectively.
  • Handle high volumes of calls from members and providers, with call lengths varying widely.
  • Take calls in both Spanish and English.
  • Maintain knowledge of contracts and policies.
  • Handle difficult calls professionally and courteously.
  • Document interactions per departmental policies.
  • Collaborate with team members to solve problems.
  • Meet or exceed quality and productivity goals.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s preferred.

Experience:

  • Prior customer service experience preferred but not required; training provided.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Bilingual in Spanish (additional languages a plus).
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
  • Sound decision-making based on standards and guidelines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Reliable high-speed internet for remote work.
  • Attendance and overtime flexibility.
