Marathon Health, LLC in Shelbyville, IN is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant who is bilingual in Spanish to join our primary care team. The MA will support the physician, perform vitals, blood draws, injections, and assist with procedures, while also handling front desk duties and patient scheduling.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of MA experience, MA certification, CPR/BLS, and phlebotomy skills.

Competenze

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience in Primary Care
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program
• National or state MA certification/registration required in states where certification is required
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date
• Phlebotomy experience required

Mansioni

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are cleaned and stocked
• Take vitals, collect blood samples, perform injections, assist with procedures
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed
• Front desk duties: scheduling, medical records requests and referrals, check-in/out
• Document data in the medical records and communicate test results to patients
• Support outreach to patients to drive engagement with care plans

Conoscenze

Bilingual in Spanish

Phlebotomy experience

CPR/BLS certification
