Senior Helpers in Berwyn, IL is hiring a Spanish-speaking caregiver to provide in-home non-medical support to clients in the local community. Duties include engaging clients in conversations, assisting with daily activities, preparing meals, and reporting on physical and mental status to families and supervisors.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience.
• Passion for helping others.
• Some dementia training.
• Willing to work with a male client.
• Flexible schedule: Mon, Fri, Sat 11 am–7 pm.

Responsibilities

• Have engaging conversations with clients to build relationships.
• Participate in clients' hobbies and activities to support social engagement.
• Prep meals for clients to enjoy.
• Assist with walking, dressing, personal care and activities of daily living.
• Report completed activities and client status to supervisors.
