Join Maryville Academy and improve the lives of children and families. We have multiple full-time and part-time openings for evening and overnight shifts at the Unaccompanied Children's Shelter in Des Plaines, from 11 PM to 7 AM.
Maryville is a human services organization established as an orphanage by the Archdiocese of Chicago following the Great Chicago Fire of 1871. The Care Provider provides services for a diverse population of Unaccompanied Children (UC) of all ages and genders. Responsibilities include daily care, guidance, managing the living environment, and promoting desirable behavior in a safe, nurturing environment.
Must sit, stand, walk, bend, and drive for extended periods; lift/move over 40 pounds; perform physical restraints; and work in settings involving contact with traumatized youth. Flexibility in scheduling, including evenings and weekends, is required.
