Job summary

Apploi is seeking a bilingual Spanish/English caregiver to provide compassionate, client-centered home care in Bloomfield, NJ. The role emphasizes safety, comfort, and independence, with clear communication in both languages.

The ideal candidate speaks Spanish and English fluently, has caregiving experience (HHA/CNA/PCA preferred), and can follow a care plan while maintaining a respectful home environment. Flexible hours and competitive pay offered.

Qualifications

• Fluent in both Spanish and English (required).
• Previous caregiving experience preferred.
• HHA, CNA, or PCA certification preferred (if applicable).
• Reliable, compassionate, patient, and professional.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare light meals and assist with feeding if needed.
• Perform light housekeeping related to the client's care.
• Remind clients to take medications as directed (no med administration unless authorized).
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed.
• Observe and report changes to the care team.
• Communicate effectively with client, family, and agency staff in Spanish and English.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment.
