Who We Are: CAMBA is a community organization comprising staff, volunteers, clients, donors, neighbors, and partners dedicated to building an inclusive New York City. Our mission is to ensure all children and adults have access to resources and support to thrive. We offer over 180 integrated programs across Education & Youth Development, Family Support, Job Training & Employment Support Services, Health, Housing, and Legal Services, reaching more than 73,000 individuals and families, including nearly 13,000 youth. CAMBA serves a diverse population, including new mothers in Brownsville and job seekers in the Rockaways, with over half of our clients being immigrants and refugees. More than 85% of our families live in poverty, reflecting the challenges faced by nearly 1.7 million New Yorkers today.
HOPWA scattered-site housing provides 50 supportive housing units for PLWHA, primarily throughout Brooklyn. The case management staff focus on removing barriers to maintain housing by ensuring clients’ basic needs are met and connecting them to services such as mental health and substance abuse treatment. The operations team works on maintaining habitability standards, addressing repairs, identifying new units, negotiating leases, and preparing units for new tenants. Clients contribute 30% of their income towards rent.

Compensation: $51,500 annually. Salary offers depend on experience, education, program size, internal equity, skills, and other factors.
Status: Full-time (35 hours/week)
