Job Title: Branch Manager III

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Virginia Beach, Virginia

Responsibilities:
  • Maximize sales and achieve goals, oversee daily operations of the retail office.
  • Seek out members of SEGs and community groups to generate loans and deposits.
  • Research member inquiries to ensure increased sales, proper follow-up, and member satisfaction.
  • Identify and maximize the use of credit union services by members.
  • Ensure facilities are well kept and maintained.
  • Travel as needed to promote credit union membership.
  • Comply with all policies and procedures related to branch operations and member transactions.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of credit union operations, retail services, and systems.
  • Leadership and motivational skills to guide sales team.
  • Coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback abilities.
  • Experience managing sales of complex financial services across multiple locations.
  • Proficiency with sales support technologies.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Management skills for teller operations, cash management, staffing, and member service.
  • Training others in retail office operations technology and procedures.
  • Problem-solving skills for member service issues.
  • Experience managing in-house and outsourced operations.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Approximately 3-5 years of progressive related experience.
