Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group, LLC is seeking a Clinical Fellowship SLP Mentor for in-person supervision in West Contra Costa Unified School District, California. Ideal candidates are bilingual Spanish CCC-SLPs with classroom experience and a commitment to mentorship.

Responsibilities include providing CF supervision, guiding new SLPs to independent practice, and ensuring proper documentation of feedback and supervision hours in compliance with ASHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of school-based SLP experience as an ASHA Certified SLP
• Maintains current state license and ASHA CCC-SLP
• Completes at least two hours of supervision development after CCC-SLP award

Responsibilities

• Provide CF Supervision for CF-SLPs per ASHA guidelines
• Mentor CF to become an independent practitioner of SLP services
• Improve clinical effectiveness through mentoring and feedback to the CF
• Complete all records and feedback/ratings in a timely manner
• Provide opportunities to view and rate skills listed in the 2020 CFSI
• Ensure required on-site and in-person supervisory activities per segment
• Adhere to professional and ethical best practices
• On-site observation and monthly supervision commitments
