Suvida Healthcare in Garland, Texas is seeking a passionate Fitness Instructor to lead fitness and wellness classes aimed at older adults. In this role, you will conduct engaging sessions that promote strength, balance, and flexibility through programs such as “¡A Movernos!” and “Matter of Balance.”

We're looking for a dynamic individual with 3+ years of relevant experience and a certification in fitness instruction, as well as the ability to foster a supportive environment for all fitness levels.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience as a fitness instructor.
• Strong knowledge of exercises that promote balance, strength, and flexibility.
• Enthusiasm, patience, and a commitment to helping others improve their health and wellness.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the “¡A Movernos!” fitness class focusing on strength, balance, and flexibility.
• Co‑lead the “Matter of Balance” class with required participation.
• Prepare lesson plans and deliver engaging fitness routines.
• Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all participants.

Conocimientos

Certification in fitness instruction

Bilingual (English and Spanish)

Excellent communication skills

Experience with geriatric populations

Strong knowledge of exercises promoting balance

Educación

CPR/AED certification
