Job summary

Suvida Healthcare LLC in Houston, TX seeks a bilingual Fitness Instructor to lead our integrated fitness programs for seniors, including the ¡A Movernos! classes and Matter of Balance sessions.

You will create engaging routines that improve strength, balance, and flexibility in older adults, while maintaining a safe, supportive atmosphere. Required certifications include ACE/AFAA and CPR/AED, plus 3+ years of experience with geriatric populations.

Qualifications

• Certification in fitness instruction (ACE, AFAA, or similar).
• CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead the ¡A Movernos! fitness class focusing on strength, balance, and flexibility; sessions are 1 hour, 1–2 times weekly.
• Co-lead the Matter of Balance class; manage lesson plans and 9-week session structures.
• Plan age-appropriate routines for older adults and ensure a safe, inclusive environment.
