Job summary

Seen Health in Alhambra is hiring a Recreation Aide to support daily activities and social engagement for participants in our PACE program. You will work with the Recreation Therapist to plan and lead group and individual activities and ensure a safe, welcoming day center.

Ideal candidates are energetic, patient, and proactive, with experience with older adults; Mandarin and/or Cantonese fluency is preferred. The role is full-time onsite with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Mandarin and/or Cantonese fluency (preferred)
• Experience with older adults or in adult day settings is a plus
• Background in recreation, occupational therapy, social work, or related human services field preferred
• Able to lift light supplies and be active throughout the workday
• Proactive & observant: takes initiative and notices when help is needed

Responsibilities

• Environment & Preparation: set up activity spaces, maintain a welcoming day room, restock supplies.
• Team Collaboration: work under the Recreation Therapist to implement daily plans and assist with materials.
• Activity Execution: lead arts & crafts, group games, reading groups, music therapy, and more.
