Job summary

Samsung Research America is seeking a Korean-English bilingual accounting professional to own month-end closing, treasury management and financial statements reporting. The role emphasizes strong ownership, independent work, and collaboration with multiple internal teams across the organization.

You will manage journal entries, GL reconciliations, lease accounting, and external audit support while maintaining precision in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent.
• 6+ years of accounting experience.
• Fluent English and Korean communication.
• Treasury, GL accounting and audit support experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct the monthly closing process, including preparing and posting journal entries, GL reconciliations while meeting global closing deadlines.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and various closing files for HQ report.
• Manage lease accounting and prepaid accounts.
• Perform treasury and cash account management.
• Support external audits by preparing financial statement packages and completing audit requests.
• Organize financial health check and other various internal control processes (GPPM, IFRS and ad-hoc requirements).
• Assist intercompany transactions.
• Be able to learn new tasks and adapt to varying responsibilities as the business changes.
