Job summary

Marina Security Services is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our East Bay team. You will monitor premises, respond to alarms, and help maintain a safe environment for clients, staff, and visitors.

The role requires strong communication and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Qualifications include a valid BSIS Guard Card with Powers to Arrest & Appropriate Use of Force, and the ability to work weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have valid BSIS Guard Card with Powers to Arrest & Appropriate Use of Force certificate
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays
• Ability to perform necessary physical duties (walking, standing, rounds)
• Must have basic computer skills and ability to use a smartphone
• Must be bilingual

Responsibilities

• Excellent oral and written communication with staff and the public
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies
• Strong observational skills and calm under pressure
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents and activities during shifts
