Jobot is seeking a dynamic and experienced School Speech-Language Pathologist to join our collaborative team. This full-time, permanent position focuses on assessments, therapy planning, and supporting students with disabilities in a school setting.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active state licensure, and Spanish proficiency, with strong communication and confidentiality skills. We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Competenze

• Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Current state license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Spanish language proficiency and ability to work with diverse students.
• Experience or strong interest in school-based settings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of laws and regulations relating to SLP in schools.
• Commitment to continuing education and professional development.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality.
• Proficiency with computer software and record keeping technology.

Mansioni

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students' abilities and needs, focusing on academic performance and development.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized occupational therapy programs for students to improve daily living and educational goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective therapy interventions.
• Provide guidance and training to school staff and families on supporting students' therapy needs at school and home.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records of diagnoses, treatments, and progress.
• Stay up-to-date with latest research and best practices in occupational therapy and apply it to improve treatment strategies.
• Advocate for inclusion and participation of students with disabilities in all school activities.
