Summary

The Bilingual School Psychologist provides comprehensive psychological services to children aged 0-21, including assessment, intervention planning, consultation, counseling, program development, and system support. They collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to determine student eligibility for services, develop appropriate programming, and conduct ongoing evaluations, working directly with students, staff, families, and the community. All services are delivered in compliance with relevant regulations and evidence-based practices.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Conduct school-based psychological evaluations using various tools and methods, including formal and informal assessments, FBA, RTI, report writing, and providing feedback and resources to parents and staff.
  • Participate in student-centered teams such as IEP planning, evaluation of interventions, and pre-referral processes.
  • Maintain evaluation materials, recommend new tools, and ensure the security of testing materials.
  • Consult with educators and administrators on interventions, eligibility, mental health, and program evaluation.
  • Provide crisis intervention and serve on emergency response teams as needed.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development through literature review and trainings.
  • Complete records and reports accurately and promptly.
  • Participate in committees and provide training on psychological topics.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor of Psychological Services.
Qualifications
  • PA PDE Educational Specialist School Psychologist PK-12 Certification required
  • Master's degree required
  • Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) required
Clearances
  • Current ACT 34, ACT 151, and FBI Fingerprints required upon hire
  • Clearance as an MA provider by the Commonwealth of PA and federal government (conducted upon hire)
Salary

For the 2025-2026 school year, salary ranges from $69,938 to $106,442 based on experience and credentials.

Schedule

10-month schedule: 194 days/year, 5 days/week, 7.5 hours/day.
