This role covers itinerant assignments across multiple schools, with daytime hours and a focus on IEP development, crisis intervention, and creating safe, inclusive environments.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) School Psychologist licensure required.
• Previous school-based psychologist experience strongly preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish proficiency highly valued.
• Comfortable working in itinerant roles, covering multiple schools as needed.
• Expertise with psychological assessments, behavioral interventions, and special education processes.
• Strong communication, consultation, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students referred for services.
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Deliver direct counseling services, crisis intervention, and behavioral support to students.
• Maintain comprehensive student files and documentation in line with state and district requirements.
• Participate in problem-solving teams and support school-wide mental health initiatives.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students.
