Job summary

A premier Texas-based education provider is seeking a motivated School Psychologist/LSSP to provide evaluations and services for public and charter schools. Responsibilities include conducting FIEs, developing IEPs, and consulting with educators and parents. Applicants should hold a Master's degree in School Psychology and be licensed in Texas. Responsibilities

• Conduct FIEs and REEDs for students referred for special education placement.
• Participate in the development of individual educational plans (IEPs).
• Consult with teachers, parents, and community agencies.
• Attend ARD committee meetings to contribute to placement and IEP development.
• Utilize testing kits, diagnostic software, and SE management tools.
• Maintain records and compile reports per AIM requirements.
• Submit hours through QuickBooks.
• Collaborate with Director(s) of Evaluation Support and AIM leaders.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct FIEs and REEDs for students (0-18 years old) referred for special education placement
• Participate in the development of individual educational plans (IEPs)
• Consult with teachers, parents, and community agencies to devise effective intervention strategies
• Attend Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) committee meetings to contribute to appropriate placement and IEP development
• Utilize and manage testing kits, diagnostic software, and special education management tools
• Maintain accurate records and compile reports for AIM and school/district requirements
• Monitor and submit hours through Quickbooks for AIM
• Collaborate on various tasks and duties as assigned by the Director(s) of Evaluation Support or other AIM leaders

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree in School Psychology or related field, Bilingual Spanish
• Licensed in the state of Texas
• Proven experience in child development and psychological assessment for children (0-18 years old)

COMPETENCIES

• Proficient in using test kits, diagnostic software, and special education management tools
• Strong report writing skills
• Effective time management and punctuality
• Professional email and messaging etiquette
• Familiarity with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Communication conducted via Slack, email, and Zoom with Directors and colleagues
• Occasional travel may be required
• Light lifting and carrying of test materials may be necessary
