Job summary

AIM, Assessment Intervention Management, is a Texas-based contract company seeking a School Psychologist/LSSP to support public and charter schools with FIEs, IEP development, and collaborative interventions.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in School Psychology, Texas licensure, and experience with child assessments (0–18). Bilingual Spanish is a plus; join a team offering professional development and an in-school environment.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • Licensed to practice in Texas.
  • Experience evaluating children (0–18) for special education needs.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct FIEs and REEDs for students (0–18) referred for special education placement.
  • Participate in development of IEPs.
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and community agencies to devise intervention strategies.
  • Attend ARD meetings to contribute to placement and IEP development.
  • Utilize and manage testing kits, diagnostic software, and SPED management tools.
  • Maintain records and compile reports for AIM and school/district requirements.
  • Monitor and submit hours through AIM systems.

COMPENSATION

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct FIEs and REEDs for students (0-18 years old) referred for special education placement
  • Participate in the development of individual educational plans (IEPs)
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and community agencies to devise effective intervention strategies
  • Attend Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) committee meetings to contribute to appropriate placement and IEP development
  • Utilize and manage testing kits, diagnostic software, and special education management tools
  • Maintain accurate records and compile reports for AIM and school/district requirements
  • Monitor and submit hours through Quickbooks for AIM
  • Collaborate on various tasks and duties as assigned by the Director(s) of Evaluation Support or other AIM leaders
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Master's degree in School Psychology or related field *Bilingual Spanish language preferred
  • Licensed in the state of Texas
  • Proven experience in child development and psychological assessment for children (0-18 years old)
COMPETENCIES
  • Proficient in using test kits, diagnostic software, and special education management tools
  • Strong report writing skills
  • Effective time management and punctuality
  • Professional email and messaging etiquette
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Communication conducted via Slack, email, and Zoom with Directors and colleagues
  • Occasional travel may be required
  • Light lifting and carrying of test materials may be necessary
