Job summary

The School District of Philadelphia seeks a bilingual School Improvement Support Liaison to connect students, families and school staff with supports aligned to the school action plan. This role models District values and supports attendance, engagement and achievement in the Casarez campus.

Under supervision, you coordinate community partnerships, prepare agendas and trainings, track data, advocate for families, and serve as liaison between the school and communities while supporting truancy

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Three years of full-time, paid social services experience in a school setting or with families/communities.
• Bilingual ability in English and Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains records and serves on the attendance team.
• Acts as liaison between school, parents/guardians, and community.
• Collaborates with staff on parent information sessions and school improvement activities.
• Develops agendas, presentations, and professional development for parent/student meetings.
• Tracks data to address student and family needs and supports truancy prevention.
