The role involves individual and group counseling, collaboration with families and staff, and program accountability using data and ASCA standards. Occasional after-hours meetings may be required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in school counseling required.
• Maryland Educator Professional Certificate with School Counselor endorsement or eligibility.

Responsabilités

• Assist students individually or in groups to develop academic, career, and personal/social skills.
• Provide individual and group counseling and preventive programs.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and administrators to support student success.
• Maintain and audit the school counseling program and use data to guide interventions.
