Job summary

Center for Human Services (CHS) is seeking a Part-time Family Support Specialist to serve Stanislaus County students and families. The role focuses on case management, home visits, and coordinating community resources to support student success.

The ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish), with 2 years of related experience or a BA/BS in a related field. Occasional evenings/weekends may be required, and a CA driver's license is needed.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in related field required; degree may be waived with relevant experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required; fluency in reading/writing to serve diverse families.
• Experience in crisis intervention, case management, group/family counseling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management services and facilitate groups/classes for families.
• Meet with clients in homes, schools, or community locations to coordinate services.
• Establish and maintain positive relations with district staff, families and the community.
• Coordinate and collaborate with District personnel to support families in need.
• May participate in Student Study Team or other site-based family service groups.
• Conduct parent meetings and trainings, including evening sessions.
