Job summary

Citi in Tampa is seeking an Operations Analyst for sanctions screening responsible for evaluating alerts, enforcing global standards, and supporting compliance processes. You will analyze transactions, collate evidence, and escalate or close cases while aligning with Citi policies.

The role requires English/Spanish bilingual capabilities and 0–2 years banking experience. The position offers full-time employment with a competitive salary range and benefits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of AML and sanctions regulations, risks and typologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bi-lingual English and Spanish required; Portuguese a plus.
• Must be a self-starter, flexible, innovative and adaptive.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing alerts with sanctions screening lists during account opening and maintenance.
• Report unusual client activities related to sanctioned individuals, money laundering or terrorist financing.
• Conduct searches and record evidence from internal systems, internet and databases.
• Aggregate facts for senior management presentations and compliance stakeholders.
• Ensure alert analysis and investigations meet policy timeframes and SLAs.
