Job summary

Kuna-Food-Service is seeking a proactive Sales Representative in the Quad Cities (IL/IA) area. You will prepare quotes, respond to RFPs, and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospects and customers.

Responsibilities include prospecting, scheduling appointments, conducting reviews, and providing product information and timely order updates. Travel to accounts and conventions is required, with vehicle safety compliance expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Restaurant or Food service product knowledge preferred.
• Previous Sales; Business Development and/or Account Management experience preferably in a distribution operation.
• Ability to work independently and in an office team environment.
• Ability to follow complex oral and written instructions.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Comfort with travel to customer sites and conventions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotes and respond to RFPs for potential customers.
• Develop and deliver sales presentations professionally.
• Prospect and set appointments with prospects.
• Conduct business reviews with customers.
• Provide timely feedback to the company on service failures or customer concerns and help develop actions.
• Provide accurate information on orders and product availability to customers.
• Conduct regular client visits to strengthen partnerships and uncover sales opportunities.
• Promote Kuna-branded products and tailored solutions to customers.
• Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify growth areas.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with purchasing, customer service, and operations teams.
• Answer questions about products, prices, availability and uses; provide training to customer personnel.
